1/144 Martin B-10

Voici un modèle que j'ai coulé en métal sur la base d'un kit en résine de Kami de Koro Koro.

Pour sa décoration, j'ai pensé dans un premier temps, faire cette version d'un avion de l'Aviation Royale des Indes Néerlandaises (ML-KNIL) mais je me suis dit que ce serait un peu cruel pour l'avion......

Here is a model I cast in metal based on a resin kit from Kami de Koro Koro.

For its decoration, I thought at first, to make this version of a plane of the Royal Netherlands East Indies Air Force (ML-KNIL) but I thought it would be a bit cruel for the plane.....

Parmi plusieurs décorations, je me suis finalement décidé pour celle, certes classique mais toujours assez jolie, des avions américains avec les couleurs de neutralité de l'entre-deux guerres, en jaune pour les ailes et bleu pour le fuselage.

Et là, la difficulté a été de trouver le "bon bleu" sur la base de photos en noir et blanc, en tenant compte des variations de luminosité, problème que l'on retrouve également sur les photos en couleurs....

Among several decorations, I finally opted for the one, certainly classic but still quite pretty, of American planes in the colors of the neutrality of the interwar period, in yellow for the wings and in blue for the fuselage.

And there, the difficulty was to find the "right blue" on the basis of black and white photos, by taking into account the variations of luminosity, problem which one also finds on the photos in colors....

Pour le reste, aucune difficulté particulière de coulage, de montage et de peinture, si ce n'est celle inhérente aux kits de résine de Kami de Koro Koro, mais qui ont le mérite d'exister....

For the rest, no particular difficulty of casting, assembly and painting, except the one inherent to the resin kits of Kami de Koro Koro, but which have the merit to exist....
