1/144 Caudron Goéland

Voici un autre Caudron Goéland, avion de transport et d'entrainement, qui porte les nouvelles cocardes françaises à la suite de la fusion entre les Forces Françaises Libres et celles du Gouvernement de Vichy après l'opération Torch, le débarquement en Afrique du Nord en 1942.

Ces "nouvelles" cocardes françaises sont les mêmes qu'au début de la guerre comportant un bleu profond au centre mais avec un liseré jaune autour.

C'est la partie décalques qui a été la plus difficile à réaliser et la seule que j'ai faite..., puisque j'avais commandé ce modèle à M. Chaubet, tout monté et peint.

Mais pourquoi ? Pourquoi un autre Goléand, tout camouflé et qui, il faut l'avouer, peut paraître comme sans trop d'intérêt....?

Eh bien, réponse sur la dernière photo.....

Here is another Caudron Goéland, a transport and training aircraft, which carries the new French roundels following the merger between the Free French Forces and those of the Vichy Government after Operation Torch, the landing in North Africa in 1942.

These "new" French roundels are the same as at the beginning of the war with a deep blue in the center but with a yellow border around it.

It is the decals part that was the most difficult to make and the only one I did..., since I had ordered this model from Mr. Chaubet, all assembled and painted.

But why? Why another Goléand, all camouflaged and which, it must be admitted, can seem like it is not very interesting....?

Vous le reconnaissez derrière le Recce Squad du 2ème Derbyshire Yeomanry (ou du 1er ?), vraisemblablement sur l'aéroport de Tunis (Tunisie) avant un défilé ?

Il me manque juste à définir les camouflages des véhicules car j'ai des infos contradictoires... 

A suivre donc.....

Un de ces avions du milieu des années 30, qui a eu une carrière avant, pendant et après la guerre, tant civile que militaire : le Caudron Goéland réalisé par M. Chaubet au 1/144 aux couleurs de l'Armée de l'Air.
Il s'agit d'un avion de transport et de liaison : 6 passagers et 2 membres d'équipage.
