Retour à la production "maison" avec un des derniers avions navals de conception purement britannique, le De Havilland Sea Vixen coulé en métal sur la base du kit en résine Miniwing.
La coulée s'est déroulée sans problème, ainsi que le montage sauf que, après avoir posé l'appret, et alors que j'allais commencer la peinture, je l'ai laissé tomber....

Return to "in-house" production with one of the last naval aircraft of purely British design, the De Havilland Sea Vixen cast in metal based on the Miniwing resin kit.
The casting went without problem, as did the assembly except that, after applying the primer, and when I was about to start painting, I dropped it....

Il a donc fallu reprendre les trains d'atterrissage et recréer en carte plastique les supports de nacelles et armements.
Mais enfin, j'ai pu réparer les quelques accessoires qui avaient été cassés (et c'est aussi un des avantages du métal, le fuselage et les ailes étaient intacts.....).
It was therefore necessary to rework the landing gears and recreate the nacelle and armament supports in plastic card.
But finally, I was able to repair the few accessories that had been broken (and this is also one of the advantages of metal, the fuselage and the wings were intact.....).
