So, I got myself a present...
Yep, again...
Je vous rassure, ce n'est pas tout à fait ça...
C'est encore un F-16, mais il a une histoire particulière.
Il y a quelques années, j'ai vu que le fabricant Calibre Wings allait produire des F-16 de la patrouille acrobatique de Singapour, les Black Knights, en vendant, soit chaque avion de la patrouille individuellement, soit une boîte avec tous les six.
Mais comme on ne trouvait que cette boîte de 6 avions malgré les annonces sur le site web, j'ai tenté d'envoyer un de mes correspondants à Hong Kong au siège de cette société, situé dans un de ces immeubles de bureaux dont cette ville a le secret....
Finalement, dans ces bureaux, aucun modèle à vendre, aucune information, si ce n'est que ces F-16 étaient épuisés (alors qu'ils n'étaient nulle part en vente....).
Et j'ai donc abandonné...., triste et mortifié....
Jusqu'à ces derniers temps, où j'ai vu, presque par hasard, sur Ebay, être proposés chacun des modèles des Black Knights.
Alors, même si je n'ai plus de place dans ma vitrine, je n'ai pas hésité, j'ai été courageux..., j'en ai acheté un....
Et ce qui est incompréhensible, c'est que pour les plus curieux, si vous allez sur le site de Calibre Wings, ils ne proposent que des modèles au 1/72 et aucun avion des Black Knights au 1/144...
Reconnaissez que ce n'est pas facile d'être collectionneur.....
Et maintenant, quelques jours de vacances. A bientôt et joyeux Noël...
I assure you, it's not quite that...
It's still an F-16, but it has a special story.
A few years ago, I saw that the manufacturer Calibre Wings was going to produce F-16s from the Singapore aerobatic patrol, the Black Knights, by selling, either each plane of the patrol individually, or a box with all six.
But as we could only find this box of 6 planes despite the announcements on the website, I tried to send one of my correspondent in Hong Kong to the headquarters of this company, located in one of these office buildings of which this city has the secret....
Finally, in these offices, no model to sell, no information, except that these F-16 were sold out (when they were nowhere on sale....).
And so I gave up...., sad and mortified....
Until recently, where I saw, almost by chance, on Ebay, each of the Black Knights models be offered.
So, even if I have no more space in my showcase, I did not hesitate, I was brave..., I bought one....
And what is incomprehensible, is that for the most curious, if you go to the Caliber Wings site, they only offer 1/72 models and no Black Knights aircraft at 1/144...
You can recognize that it is not easy to be a collector.....
