1/144 North American P-51D Mustang

Le second modèle au 1/44 du fabricant ModelArt aux couleurs des Tuskegee Airmen, les premiers pilotes afro-américains des forces armées américaines.

Comme pour le premier modèle (voir ici), il a fallu repeindre une des deux ailes, dessus et dessous, pour supprimer l'étoile de nationalité qui figurait des deux côtés de chacune des ailes.


The second model at 1/44 scale of the manufacturer ModelArt in the colors of Tuskegee Airmen, the first African-American pilots of the U.S. armed forces.

Lorsque j'ai vraiment débuté ma collection, j'ai trouvé deux modèles de North American P-51D Mustang, présentés sur socle, réalisés par un fabricant de Hong Kong, ModelArt, dont celui présenté ici.

Le problème est que les étoiles US se trouvaient sur les 2 côtés des ailes, dessus et dessous, et qu'il a fallu repeindre un des côtés sans abîmer la peinture riche et colorée du modèle.
