1/144 Royal Aircraft Factory S.E.5a

Moins connu que le Sopwith Camel, il a été un des avions les plus importants de la première guerre mondiale même s'il n'est apparu qu'à la fin de celle-ci, le Scout Experimental 5 (S.E.5), dont 5200 exemplaires ont été construits, et qui s'est révélé un adversaire redoutable des Fokker Dr.I et D.VII.

Ici présenté dans sa version S.E.5a, le kit Reviresco que j'ai monté et peint, et décoré avec les décalques du modèle Sram, aux couleurs de l'as canadien Hank Burden.


Less known than the Sopwith Camel, it was one of the most important aircraft of the First World War, even if it appeared only at the end of this one, the Scout Experimental 5 (S.E.5), among wich 5200 copies were built, and which proved to be a formidable opponent of the Fokker Dr.I and D.VII.

Presented in its S.E.5a version, the Reviresco kit I assembled and painted, and decorated with decals of the Sram model, in the markings of the Canadian ace Hank Burden.
