Pour l'anecdote, ce pilote qui a commencé dans la Royal Air Force comme Sergent et a fini Group Captain (équivalent de Colonel), et après avoir obtenu les plus grandes médailles militaires : Grand-Croix de la Légion d'Honneur (F), Croix de Guerre avec 19 citations (F), Croix de Guerre (Belgique), DFC and bar (GB), Distinguished Service Cross (USA), Silver Star (USA), et Air Medal (USA), a été intégré dans l'Armée de l'Air française à la fin de la guerre, "à titre exceptionnel" (sic !), comme lieutenant de réserve...
Pour le modèle, comme Clostermann a eu 4 Tempest avec le même code JFoE, j'ai juste modifié les cocardes d'ailes pour représenter celui de fin de guerre, mais qui n'est pas l'avion d'après guerre où les cocardes d'ailes étaient cerclées de jaune.

For the model presented, as Clostermann had 4 Tempest with the same JFoE code, I just changed the roundels wings to represent the one at the end of war, but that is not the postwar aircraft where roundels wings were yellow outlined.
