Lorsque j'ai envisagé de réaliser un Gotha G.IV avec le kit Skytrex, je n'ai pas pu résister à l'envie d'utiliser les décalques du modèle en résine Sram pour en faire un second (voir le premier ici).

C'est Noël - It's Christmas
Les derniers produits reçus de Arrowhead Miniatures (anciennement Wargames South).
En premier, le tracteur Morris Quad avec le canon 25 PDR et la remorque.
Last products received from Arrowhead Miniatures (formerly Wargames South).
First, the Morris Quad tractor with the 25 PDR gun and trailer.
Vous le connaissez surement, car ce modèle, avec les servants du canon que l'on croirait transposés directement du Jubilé de la Reine, a fait les beaux jours de la marque Airfix, au 1/76, et il est toujours commercialisé.
You probably know it, because this model, with the servants of the gun that one believe directly transposed from the Jubilee of the Queen, has made the heyday of the Airfix brand at 1/76 scale and it is still commercialized.
Appréciez la finesse du moulage. Du grand travail !

Le SdKfz 7, l'auto-chenille qui tractait notamment le canon anti-aérien Flak 88 (terrible canon anti-char aussi), que Airfix avait également réalisé.

Bunker
Non, ce n'est pas parce que je ne fais pas de messages, que je ne travaille pas...
Voici, complètement terminé (voir le début ici), un bunker avec un Shoki "Tojo", accompagné d'un véhicule de ravitaillement Isuzu, et d'un véhicule de liaison Kurogane Type 95.
Bon, maintenant, je dois décorer le Shoki "Tojo", mais je n'ai pas encore trouvé de livrée qui me plaise vraiment.

1/144 Lockheed Martin F-35A Lightning II - Part 1
Il y a quelques années, lors d'une visite au Musée de l’ALAT (Aviation Légère de l’Armée de Terre) dans le Sud de la France, j’ai trouvé à la boutique un modèle de F-35 Lightning II, annoncé comme étant en métal et au 1/144.
N’écoutant que mon courage, je l’ai bien sûr acheté, pour le laisser dans un placard…
Quelque temps après, voulant le présenter, je me suis aperçu qu’il y avait un espace important entre le nez et le reste du fuselage que j’ai rebouché avec du mastic, mais je n'ai pas fait le raccord de peinture compte tenu de la couleur caractéristique du modèle et n’ayant aucune décalque de remplacement en cas de « débordement »…
A few years ago, during a visit to the ALAT Museum (French Army light aviation) in the South of France, I found at the shop a model of F-35 Lightning II announced as being metal and in 1/144 scale.
Listening only my courage, I bought it of course, to leave it in a cupboard...
Some time later, wanting to present it, I realized that there was a significant gap between the nose and the rest of the fuselage that I recorked with putty, but I did not make the join of paint considering the characteristic color of the model and having none decal of replacement in case of "overflow"...
Encore après, sur le dessous, j’ai constaté un écart aussi important entre les 2 parties composant ce modèle (voir flèches blanches), mais aussi que le logo de la marque Newray et le Made in China figuraient en relief de chaque côté des ailes (voir flèches noires).
Still later, on the bottom, I found an important gap between the two parts composing the model (see white arrows), but also that the logo of the Newray brand and the Made in China appeared in relief on either side of the wings (see black arrows).
J’ai donc envisagé, après avoir rebouché et supprimé les mentions en relief, de tout repeindre et redécorer avec les décalques du kit plastique de PitRoad.
Cette référence propose les 3 premiers prototypes (comme le modèle Newray) : AA-1, AF-01 et AF-02 du F-35A qui est la version que l’on peut qualifier de conventionnelle par rapport à celle navale pour l’US Navy et celle à décollage vertical pour les US Marines.
I thus envisaged, after recorked and removed the relief mentions, to repaint all and to redecorate with the decals of the PitRoad plastic kit.
This reference proposes the first 3 prototypes (as Newray model) : AA-1, AF-01 and AF-02 of the F-35A which is the version that can be qualified as conventional compared to that for the US Navy Navy and the vertical take-off for the US Marines.
Mais, avant cela, quelques petites vérifications des mesures.
But, before that, some small checks of the measures.
Le modèle Newray semble bien conforme au modèle PitRoad (qui est une marque à qui on peut faire confiance).
Mais, avant de repeindre, une question : le présenter sur le socle ou sur son train d’atterrissage ?
Dans ce dernier cas, il faudrait monter le kit plastique pour calculer avec précision la hauteur des trains à mettre en place sur le modèle en métal ainsi que les trappes.
The Newray model seems conform to the PitRoad model (which is a brand that can be trusted).
But, before repainting, a question: to present it on the base or on its landing gear ?
In this last case, it would be necessary to mount the plastic kit to calculate exactly the height of landing gears to be set up on the metal model as well as the trapdoors.

1/144 Republic F-84F Thunderstreak - by Chaubet
Autre modèle de la dernière livraison de M. Chaubet, le F-84F Thunderstreak, aux couleurs de l'Armée de l'Air.
Je vais surement commander à M. Chaubet d'autres Thunderstreak, car j'ai en stock des décalques pour faire au moins une décoration hollandaise et peut être américaine.

1/144 Bell P-63 Kingcobra - by Chaubet
Le premier modèle de la dernière livraison de M. Chaubet, le Bell P-63 Kingcobra, avion développé à partir du P-39 Airacobra (voir ici), mais qui n'a pas été retenu par l'armée de l'Air américaine, et a donc essentiellement servi en URSS pendant la guerre, et postérieurement, avec l'Armée de l'Air notamment en Indochine et Algérie.
