Je suis parti en vacances avec tout un tas de modèles à monter, certains à recouler et pour d'autres enfin, créer des moules et les couler en métal.
A la fin des vacances, le bilan est.... bof, très bof.
Déjà, je n'ai fait aucun des modèles à monter.
Après une saison de création de moules laborieuse, je pensais "me rattraper" sur le coulage des modèles (anciens ou nouveaux) ....
Eh bien, ce fut mitigé....
J'ai eu un début prometteur en recoulant certains modèles anciens, comme de Fairey Delta II, le English Electric P1A, et j'ai finalement réussi (après plusieurs essais) à couler l'intégralité de l'aile du De Havilland Heron.
Pour les modèles de cette année, le Gasuden Koken et le Nakajima Ki-11 (toujours avec son aileron manquant) sont très bien, et le Grumman C1A Trader n'est pas mal, mais va nécessiter pas mal de mastic (car le modèle Gashapon s'est "desserré" lors de la création du moule, on voit une fente tout au long du fuselage en partie supérieure, pas très importante mais visible...).

After a laborious season of mold making, I thought I would "catch up" on casting models (old or new)....
Well, it was a mixed bag...
I had a promising start recasting some older models, such as the Fairey Delta II and the English Electric P1A, and finally (after several attempts) I succeeded in casting the entire wing of the de Havilland Heron.
For this year's models, the Gasuden Koken and the Nakajima Ki-11 (still with its missing fin) are very good, and the Grumman C1A Trader is not bad, but will require a lot of filler (because the Gashapon model "loosened" during the creation of the mold, we see a crack all along the fuselage in the upper part, not very important but visible...).
Les autres modèles McDD Phantom FG.1, IAR 80 et Brewster Buffalo sont corrects, mais sans plus.
Je n'ai pas de photo car je n'ai pas commencé à les ébarber.
