1/144 Mitsubishi Ki.15 "Babs"

Pour bien commencer cette année, et après le Short SC.1 (voir ici), puis le Curtiss A-12 Shrike (voir aussi ici) voici un troisième modèle réalisé par la TRAM (Teddybeer Repair Aircraft Manufactory...😄), c'est à dire que j'ai moulé à partir d'un modèle F-Toys, coulé (voir là), puis monté, peint et décoré.

Il s'agit d'un Mitsubishi Ki.15 qui, avant de devenir un avion de reconnaissance pour l'armée, a eu son heure de gloire en réalisant en 1937 un vol entre Tokyo et Londres pour le couronnement du roi George VI, d'une durée de 51 heures, 17 minutes et 23 secondes, ainsi qu'il est présenté ici avec les décalques de Myk Design Decals.


To start well this year, and after the Short SC.1 (see here), then the Curtiss A-12 Shrike (see also here), here is a thirs model realized by the TRAM (Teddybeer Repair Aircraft Manufactory....😄), ie that I molded from an F-Toys model, casted (see there), then assembled, painted and decorated.

This is a Mitsubishi Ki.15 which, before becoming a reconnaissance aircraft for the army, had his moment of glory by making in 1937 a flight between Tokyo and London for the coronation of King George VI with a duration of 51 hours, 17 minutes and 23 seconds, as it is presented here with decals from Myk Design Decals.

La partie la plus délicate a été la peinture de la verrière, mais surtout de la séance de masquage qui a précédé....

The most delicate part was the painting of the canopy, but especially the masking session that preceded....
