1/144 Sukhoi Su-15 "Flagon"

Cela fait 2 ans et demi qu'il traînait, avec d'autres, dans les placards, en attendant quelques travaux mineurs (voir ici le message lors de leur réception).

Il avait juste besoin d'un petit coup de couleur alu en dessous (pour supprimer le bleu qui n'avait rien à y faire...) et sur les pylônes (pour ne laisser que les missiles en blanc), puis repeindre le nez en noir pour être conforme à la photo, et bien sûr modifier les décalques.

D'accord, j'ai choisi une photo très connue pour illustrer et décorer ce modèle, mais je trouve qu'elle montre bien les lignes de cet avion.

Et donc voici le pur intercepteur, un Sukhoi Su-15 au 1/144, connu le plus souvent pour les deux incidents contre des avions civils, tous deux de la compagnie Korean Air Lines : le vol 902 en 1978 (atterrissage forcé après un tir de missile, bilan : 2 morts, 10 blessés) et le vol 007 en 1983 (abattu en plein vol, bilan : 269 victimes).

Mais c'est un bel avion. Et il est encore plus beau présenté "en vol".

That's two and a half years it was hanging, with others, in cupboards, awaiting some minor works (see here the message when I received them).

It just needed a little bit of color alu underneath (to remove the blue that had nothing to do there...) and on the pylons (to leave only missiles in white), then repaint the nose in black to be conform to the photo, and of course modify the decals.

Okay, I chose a well known photo to illustrate and decorate this model, but I find that it shows the lines of this plane.

So here is the pure interceptor, a Sukhoi Su-15 in 1/144, known most often for the two incidents against civil aircraft, both of Korean Air Lines: flight 902 in 1978 (forced landing after a firing of missile, 2 deaths, 10 wounded) and Flight 007 in 1983 (shot down in flight, report : 269 victims).

But it's a beautiful plane. And it is even more beautiful presented "in flight".
