1/144 English Electric (BAC) Lightning F.1A - by Diverse Images

L'English Electric Lightning F1A, réalisé par Diverse Images, première version de production de cet avion si particulier avec ses deux réacteurs superposés, intercepteur pur de la guerre froide, dont le principal défaut était le peu d'autonomie à laquelle il a été remédié par l'ajout d'un réservoir ventral (version F.3), puis la possibilité d'emporter deux réservoirs externes sur les ailes (version F.6 - voir ici).

The English Electric Lightning F.1A, made by Diverse Images, first production version of this aircraft so special with two superposed reactors, a pure interceptor of the Cold War, whose the main drawback was the lack of autonomy which was remedied by the addition of a belly tank (version F.3), then the possibility of carrying two external fuel tanks over the wings (version F.6 - see here).
