Moulage - Cast - Part 3

Un second essai avec le Horten Ho 229 provenant d'un modèle Gashapon et un Boeing  P-26 Peashooter en résine (de Kami de Korokoro ?).

Dans un deuxième moule, les ailes du Short 184 Seaplane du kit Skytrex.

Pas de problème pour la première partie du moule.

No problem for the first part of the mold.

Un joli silicone sans bulle pour la 2ème partie du moule.

A nice bubble free silicone for the second part of the mold.

Les deux moules ont l'air pas mal...

Le résultat du 1er moule (Ho 229 et P-26) était tellement raté que je l'ai refondu pour le second moule.
Je n'ai même pas pris de photo.
Je pense qu'il doit y avoir un problème de serrage du moule, trop fort, et que la coulée du métal ne se fait pas bien au niveau des ailes et ailerons, trop fins.
Du coup, je n'ai pas assez serré le second moule, et cela a "bavé" entre les deux ailes.
Les ailes sont assez bien faites, sauf un petit retrait sur l'une d'elles que je rectifierai avec un fer à souder, mais il va y avoir un sacré travail d'ébavurage....
Ça ne marche pas à tous les coups.

The result of the first mold (Ho 229 and P-26) was so failed that I melted it for the second mold.
I did not even take a picture.
I think there must be a problem with mold clamping, too strong and metal casting is not done well at the wings and ailerons, too thin.
So, I did not tight enough the second mold, and it "drooled" between the two wings.
The wings are rather well done, except for a small shrinkage of one of them that I will correct with a soldering iron, but there will be sacred trimming work ....
No, it does not work all the shots.
