1/144 Aichi E13 "Jake"

Un modèle commandé monté avec une peinture spéciale à M. Chaubet que j'ai décoré aux couleurs de la Marine Royale Thailandaise : Aichi E13, nom de code allié : Jake.

Pendant la 2ème guerre mondiale, les japonais ont fourni la Thailande en matériel militaire, et particulièrement en avions (voir notamment le Nakajima ki.43 Oscar avec les cocardes de 1941 : lien)
Les décalques proviennent de Siam Decals.


A model ordered mounted with a special paint to Mr. Chaubet, that I decorated in the colors of the Royal Thai Navy : Aichi E13, allied codename : Jake.

During the second World War, the Japanese have provided military equipment to Thailand, especially in aircraft  (see in particular the Nakajima ki.43 Oscar with roundels of 1941 : link)
The decals are from Siam Decals.

1/144 Nakajima Ki.27 "Nate"

Un modèle en kit métal de chez Reviresco, facile à monter : Le Nakajima Ki.27, dont le nom de code américain était "Nate", aux couleurs du Mandchoukouo (Pour rappel, l'état fantoche créé par les japonais en Mandchourie, avec à sa tête, Pu-Yi, le dernier empereur chinois.).


A model metal kit from Reviresco, easy to assemble : The Nakajima Ki.27, whose American codename was "Nate", in the markings of Manchukuo (As a reminder, the puppet state created by the Japanese in Manchuria, with at its head, Pu-Yi, the last Chinese emperor).

1/144 Hawker Hunter

Pas de post les prochains jours, pour cause de week-end prolongé à Bruxelles.
J'espère avoir le temps de voir le Musée Royal de l'Armée et de l'Histoire militaire et bien sûr, la section Air et Espace.

En attendant, un modèle de Diverse Images que j'ai acheté sur Internet un peu abimé, puis que j'ai repeint et redécoré aux couleurs de la Abu Dhabi Air Force.
La version présentée est celle FGA.9 d'attaque au sol achetée par l'Emirat et développée à partir de la version F.6 de chasse.
Les décalques proviennent de la planche Xtradecals consacrée au Hunter au 1/144.
Dommage qu'il n'y ait pas d'autre modèle en métal de cet avion car il y a des décorations très attrayantes sur cette planche : la RAF bien sur, mais aussi Singapour, Belgique, Kenya, Rhodésie etc...

MISE A JOUR : Depuis la rédaction de ce message, Janvier 2013, j'ai été exaucé : d'une part M. Chaubet a décidé de faire le Hunter, et d'autre part, j'en ai trouvé d'autres dont un prototype, ce qui m'a permis d'avoir cette jolie collection de Hawker Hunter dont je révais.... 😂 (voir les liens en bas de message).


No posts the next few days due to "extended" weekend in Brussels.
I hope to have time to see the Royal Museum of Army and Military History, and of course the Air and Space section.

In the meantime, an Hawker Hunter model from Diverse Images that I bought on Internet slightly damaged,and I have repainted and redecorated in the colors of Abu Dhabi Air Force.
The version shown is the ground attack FGA.9 bought by the Emirate and developed from F.6 fighter version.
The decals come from the Xtradecals sheet dedicated to Hunter at 1/144.
Too bad there is no other metal model of this aircraft because there are very attractive decorations on this sheet : Raf of course, but also Singapore, Belgium, Kenya, Rhodesia etc ...

UPDATE : Since writing this message, January 2013, I have been granted : on the one hand Mr. Chaubet has decided to make the Hunter, and on the other hand, I have found others including one prototype, which allowed me to have this nice collection of Hawker Hunter which I dream of .... 😂(see links at the bottom of the message).

Encore un de ces modèles du fabricant ukrainien dont je ne retrouve pas le nom : Le Kawanishi N1K1 Kyofu (vent puissant), nom de code "Rex" au 1/144.


Another one of those models of Ukrainian manufacturer which I can not find the name : The Kawanishi N1K1 Kyofu (strong wind), codenamed "Rex" at 1/144.

1/144 Avro Anson - by Diverse Images

Un de ces avions qui n'ont pas intéressé les fabricants, sauf Diverse Images.
Pourtant, le Avro Anson a eu un rôle non négligeable au début de la 2° guerre mondiale comme avion de liaison, transport ou formation.
Pour ce modèle au 1/144, Diverse Images a choisi un avion qui a abattu deux Messerschmitt Bf.109, ce qui est impressionnant pour ce type d'appareil.


One of these planes that have not interested manufacturers, unless Diverse Images.
However, the Avro Anson had a significant role at the beginning of the 2nd World War as liaison, transport or training aircraft.
For this model at 1/144, Diverse Images chose a plane that shot down two Messerschmitt Bf.109, which is impressive for this type of aircraft.

1/144 Polikarpov R-5

Un kit Reviresco de sa très intéressante série d'avions de l'entre-deux guerres : Le Polikarpov R-5, qui a été utilisé par l'aviation républicaine pendant la guerre civile espagnole mais bien sûr, par l'aviation soviétique, civile ou militaire, dans de nombreuses versions (bombardier léger, reconnaissance, ambulance, etc... et transport de troupes - voir la photo ci-dessous).


A Reviresco kit from its very interesting set of inter wars aircraft : The Polikarpov R-5, which was used by  the Republican aviation during the Spanish Civil War but of course, by the by Soviet aviation, civil or military, in many versions (light bomber, reconnaissance, ambulance, etc...and troop transport - see the photo below).

Ici, en version "classique", sous les couleurs du District de Moscou.

1/144 Grumman Bearcat - by Chaubet

Bien que cela soit un avion "marin", il a été utilisé par l'Armée de l'Air et pas par l'Aéronavale, notamment en Indochine : Le Grumman Bearcat, réalisé par M. Chaubet au 1/144.


Although it is an "marine" airplane, it was used by the French Air Force and not by the Naval Aviation, especially in Indochina : The Grumman Bearcat, made by Mr. Chaubet at 1/144.
