1/144 Bristol Blenheim Mk.1 - by Diverse Images

De sa grande période du 1/144, Diverse Images avait réalisé des avions ignorés par les fabricants de maquettes plastique ou de diecast.
Pour preuve, le modèle présenté ici : un Bristol Blenheim Mk.I.
Cet avion est dérivé d'un avion civil, le Bristol 142, baptisé "Britain First", qui allait plus vite que les chasseurs de l'époque, de type Gloster Gladiator.
L'avion sera repris par la RAF et il servira de modèle à la série des Blenheim.


From its great period of 1/144, Diverse Images had made aircraft ignored by diecast or plastic models manufacturers.
As proof, the model presented here : a Bristol Blenheim MK.I.
This plane is derived from a civilian airliner, the Bristol 142, named "Britain First", which was faster than the fighters of the time, type Gloster Gladiator.
The aircraft will be taken up by the RAF and will serve as a model for the Blenheim series.

1/144 Junkers Ju 87R Stuka - by Chaubet

Après une escapade en train et en camion, retour dans le ciel avec un modèle entièrement monté et peint de M. Chaubet : Le Junkers Ju 87 R au 1/144.
La seule photo que j'ai trouvée est celle d'un avion du même groupe 3/St.G1, mais à l'état d'épave.
Mais je ne détruirai pas mon modèle pour correspondre à la photo...


After a getaway by train and truck, back in the sky with a fully assembled and painted model of M. Chaubet : The Junkers Ju 87 R at 1/144.
The only picture I have found is that an airplane of the same group 3/St.G1, but a wreck.
But I will not destroy my model to match the photo ...

Shopping at Model Railway Festival

Alexandra Palace est vraiment un beau bâtiment du 19ème siècle, situé sur une colline avec une vue superbe sur tout Londres.
Sauf que, il a neigé tout le week end....

Alexandra Palace is truly a beautiful 19th century building, located on a hill with stunning view over London.
Except that it snowed all weekend....

Au Festival of Railway Modelling, des trains, des trains, à toutes les échelles, et bien sûr à l'échelle N, qui était représentée dans ses deux composantes : le N continental (1/160) et le N anglais (1/148 à 1/152).

At the Festival of Railway Modelling, trains, trains, at all scales, and of course to the N scale, which was represented in its two components : the continental N (1/160) and the British N (1/148 to 1/152).

Et enfin, le propriétaire de Gramodels m'a indiqué qu'il allait produire, dans les prochains mois, de quoi réaliser la Queen Mary Trailer, avec toute la partie remorque en photodécoupe. 

And finally, the owner of Gramodels told me he was going to produce in the coming months, what to make the Queen Mary Trailer, all the trailer part with photoetched.

Vous imaginez réaliser la scène de la maquette Airfix au 1/144 avec la remorque de Gramodels et la grue du Matador sur le Scammell Pionner de Wargames South. 

Bon, on arrête de rêver, au boulot maintenant.

Vehicules Echelle N - N Gauge Scale Vehicles

Pas de post ces prochains jours, car je vais au London Festival of Railway Modelling (lien), qui a lieu à Alexandra Palace dans le nord de Londres.

Quel rapport avec les avions au 1/144 ?
Tout simplement, les accessoires (véhicules, etc...) que l'on peut trouver à l'échelle N Gauge.
La difficulté est que l'échelle N n'est pas uniforme :
- aux Etats Unis et en Europe continentale, elle est au 1/160, et cela fait vraiment petit par rapport au 1/144,
- au Japon, au 1/150 ou 1/152,
- en Grande Bretagne, du 1/148 au 1/152, ce qui est très proche du 1/144.
Parmi les différents fabricants d'accessoires, notamment de véhicules, vous connaissez déjà PG Models, qui exposait à Telford 2012, présenté dans un précédent post (lien).

Il y a aussi deux autres fabricants dont la production est facile à trouver.

Le premier est Oxford Diecast (lien) qui fait des "petits bijoux", en métal et plastique, entièrement montés et décorés, annoncés comme étant au 1/148.

Le second est Fleetline, des kits entièrement en white metal, mais je me suis aperçu que, comme pour Minifigs, tout n'était pas toujours à la bonne échelle.
On peut les trouver notamment ici (lien), avec d'autres producteurs à l'échelle N.
Ici, un camion citerne Scammell que j'ai monté et décoré aux couleurs de la Shell.


The second is Fleetline, kits entirely in white metal, but I realized that, as Minifigs, everything was not always in the right scale.
These can be found especially here (link), with others N scale producers.
