Le magnifique 1/200 - The magnificent 1/200

Comme ma chère et tendre épouse m'a offert un nouveau modèle au 1/200 (du fait de la pénurie de modèles au 1/144...), j'en profite pour vous présenter une partie de ma collection à cette échelle, dans ce que les puristes appellent le One True Scale, qui concerne le plus souvent les produits réalisés par des artisans, à la différence des Herpa, Hogan et autres industriels (déjà présentés dans ce blog, voir les liens en bas de page).


As my dear and loving wife offered me a new model at 1/200 (due to the templates shortage in 1/144....), I take this opportunity to present a part of my collection on this scale, in what the purists call the One True Scale, which concerns more often products made by artisans, unlike Herpa, Hogan and other industrial (already presented in this blog, see the links at the bottom of page).

Prototypes de Noël - Christmas prototypes

Oui, c'est original, c'est Noël....
Mais, c'est la période où on fait des listes de souhaits de cadeaux....
Monsieur Père Noël, vous ne voudriez pas m'offrir, au 1/144, en résine ou en diecast, je ne suis pas exigeant..., un de ces modèles de prototypes que j'ai vu au RAF Museum de Cosford quand je suis allé au Scale ModelWorld de Telford (j'allais pas passer devant le musée sans m'arrêter, non ?)
S'il vous plaît, Monsieur Père Noël, c'est possible...?

1/144 Bristol F2B Fighter

Je renoue avec mes débuts, les kits d'avions de la première guerre mondiale.
Voici un modèle de Bristol F2B au 1/144, mélange des kits Skytrex (Red Eagle) et Reviresco.
Il a nécessité pas mal de travail car le fuselage, au niveau de la partie moteur, n'était absolument pas conforme, et il a fallu pas mal de mastic pour compenser....

I go back to my beginnings, the kits of planes of the first world war.
Here is a model of Bristol F2B 1/144, a mixture of kits Skytrex (Red Eagle) and Reviresco.
It took a lot of work because the fuselage, at the engine part, was absolutely not compliant, and it took a lot of putty to compensate....

Ce modèle commencé il y a bien longtemps, est décoré aux couleurs de l'Australian Air Corps, en Palestine, pendant la première guerre mondiale.

This model started a long time ago, is decorated in the colors of the Australian Flying Corps, in Palestine, during the first World War.

Après ces petites vacances à Telford pour le Scale ModelWorld, c'est le retour aux dures réalités de la vie, c'est à dire à la collection....
Pourquoi les "dures réalités de la vie" ? Car en ce moment, la production, soit celles des professionnels, soit la mienne, est particulièrement lente.
Et donc, j'ai besoin de compenser.... Vous croyez que je suis malade, docteur....?
Mais, comme j'ai déjà eu l'occasion de le préciser ici ou là dans ce blog, je résiste à tout, sauf à la tentation....
J'ai donc acheté, encore, un modèle en bois (mahogany ?), même s'il est au 1/144 comme la collection.

Voici donc un sacré bestiau que je vous présente, un Airbus A380...., sous l'immatriculation F-WWEA, c'est à dire le 5ème prototype.
