1/144 Avro Lancastrian - by Corgi

Après la guerre, et du fait des besoins en avions de transport, l'Avro Lancastrian, ici réalisé par Corgi, a été développé à partir du bombardier Lancaster, en supprimant toutes les tourelles et en créant un nouveau nez.
Cet avion ne pouvait transporter que peu de passagers mais avait une capacité de charges lourdes, vu son rôle antérieur de bombardier...
Une version de cet avion a été réalisée au profit de la Société Flight Refuelling Ltd, pour le transport d'essence pendant le blocus de Berlin.

After the war and due to the need for transport aircraft, the Avro Lancastrian, here made by Corgi, was developed from the Lancaster bomber by removing all turrets and building a new nose.
This aircraft could carry that few passengers but had a heavy cargo capacity, given his previous role bomber...
A version of this plane was made for the benefit of the Company Flight Refuelling Ltd, for the transport of petrol during the Berlin Airlift.

Vous vous rappelez peut-être cette illustration d’un kit Airfix d’avion de la première guerre mondiale qui semblait sortir tout droit d’une bande dessinée.

Perhaps you remember this illustration of an Airfix First World War airplane kit that seemed to come straight out of a comic book.

Eh bien oui, il a bien existé, comme le montre la photo extraite du Windsock Datafile consacré au LFG Roland C.II.
Le modèle présenté ici est un mélange des kits Skytrex et Reviresco (mais avec la plupart des pièces du kit Reviresco) que j’ai monté et décoré aux couleurs du Walfisch (baleine) de Von Schleich .

Well yes, it did exist, as shown in the photo taken from the Windsock Datafile dedicated to the LFG Roland C.II.
The model presented here is a mix of Skytrex and Reviresco kits (but with most pieces of the Reviresco kit) that I assembled and decorated in the colors of the Von Schleich "Walfisch" (whale).

1/144 Vickers Wellington - by Diverse Images

Le Vickers Wellington, ici réalisé par Diverse Images au 1/144, fut l'un des principaux avions du Bomber Command, avec sa stucture géodésique particulière, particulièrement résistante, inventée par Barnes Wallis, le père de la bombe Upkeep utilisée par les Dambusters (voir ici).

The Vickers Wellington, here made by Diverse Images at 1/144, was one of the main Bomber Command aircraft, with its unique geodesic structure, highly resistant, invented by Barnes Wallis, the father of the Upkeep bomb used by the Dambusters (see here).


Je rappelle que, comme les modèles de M. Chaubet, ceux de Diverse Images sont entièrement en métal, sans la moindre pièce plastique.

Ce système sera bien sûr développé par tous les pays, y compris par l'URSS sur la base de camions Gaz AA ou AAA.
Voici le Starter Truck à partir d'un modèle de Gz AAA de Pro-Hobby, de la corde à piano, de la carte plastique et le starter d'un kit plastique d'avion de Aoshima.

Jusqu'à présent, le fabricant Witty produisait des modèles Diecast à l'echelle 1/72.
Il vient de commencer une série au 1/144 dont le premier modèle est un MiG 29 aux couleurs de l'armée de l'air slovaque, avec un camouflage pixelisé.

1/144 Douglas AD Skyraider

Un autre Douglas Skyraider au 1/144, commandé simplement monté et peint à M. Chaubet et décoré dans une livrée assez connue de l'US Navy, grâce aux décalques d'un fabricant japonais dont j'ai perdu le nom.


Another Douglas Skyraider at 1/144, ordered simply assembled and painted to Mr. Chaubet and decorated in a U.S. Navy fairly well known livery, with decals from a Japanese manufacturer which I lost the name.
