1/144 Handley Page HP.115

Cet avion a de belles lignes fluides, non ?

This plane has nice flowing lines, doesn't it ?

Bon, là, un peu moins, mais il reste quand même très beau, non ?

Well, there, a little less, but it is still very beautiful, right ?

Mais ici, on peut vraiment se poser la question : quel est l'esprit malade qui a créé ces lignes, une insulte aux règles du coefficient de pénétration dans l'air ?

But here, we can really ask the question : what is the sick spirit that created these lines, an insult to the rules of the coefficient of penetration in the air ? 

Mais bon, cet avion, comme de nombreux prototypes britanniques, m'a toujours fasciné.....

Et quand, sur un des forums dédié au 1/144, quelqu'un a proposé à la vente ce kit Anigrand en résine, je n'ai pas hésité une seconde.....

Le moulage a été un peu compliqué (moule troué et coupé) et le coulage encore plus (obligé de placer des "cales" pour combler le siicone manquant sur certaines parties du moule)....(voir aussi ici).

But well, this plane, like many British prototypes, has always fascinated me....

And when, on one of the forums dedicated to 1/144, someone offered for sale this Anigrand resin kit, I didn't hesitate for a second.....

The molding was a little complicated (mold with holes and cut) and the casting even more (forced to place "shims" to fill in the missing silicon on certain parts of the mold).... (see also here).

Mais finalement, le coulage s'est à peu près bien passé, malgré l'inquiétude d'endommager un peu plus le moule et ne plus pouvoir l'utiliser.

But in the end, the pouring went pretty well, despite the worry of damaging the mold a bit more and not being able to use it anymore.

Le montage puis la peinture se sont déroulés normalement, même si je trouve que j'aurais pu mieux faire.....

Et voici donc le seul prototype de Handley Page HP.115 qui, avec ses trains d'atterrissage fixes, était destiné aux expériences sur les ailes delta, en particulier aux basses vitesses, dont les données ont aussi servi pour le Concorde.

And so here is the only prototype of Handley Page HP.115 which, with its fixed landing gears, was intended for experiments on delta wings, in particular at low speeds, the data of which were also used for the Concorde.

1/144 English Electric Lightning

Le petit moment de bonheur lié à l'acquisition des 2 Avro Vulcan réalisés par Diverse Images (voir ici et voir là) ne s'est pas arrêté là.....

En effet, vu ma passion pour le 1/144 et pour le fabricant Diverse Images dont j'ai pratiquement tous les modèles (au moins un de chaque type), le vendeur m'a très gentiment offert un English Electric Lightning qui était très légèrement abimé.

Mais, ce n'était pas un problème car, ayant déjà les 3 modèles de Lightning de ce fabricant, cela a été l'occasion d'en faire un 4ème grâce à la superbe planche de décalcomanies de 144th.co.uk.

Et voici donc, encore et toujours au 1/144, un English Electric Lightning à la décoration refaite....

The little moment of happiness linked to the acquisition of the 2 Avro Vulcan produced by Diverse Images (see here and see there) did not stop there .....

Indeed, considering my passion for the 1/144 and for the manufacturer Diverse Images of which I have practically all the models (at least one of each type), the seller very kindly offered me an English Electric Lightning which was very slightly damaged.

But, this was not a problem because, having already the 3 models of Lightning of this manufacturer, it was the occasion to make a 4th one thanks to the superb sheet of decals from 144th.co.uk.

And here is, again and again at 1/144, an English Electric Lightning with redone decoration ....

2ème moment de bonheur - 2nd moment of happiness : 1/144 Avro Vulcan - by Diverse Images

Comme expliqué dans le précédent message, voici donc le second Avro Vulcan de Diverse Images obtenu par un coup de chance au début de l'été.

Donc, maintenant, après avoir obtenu ces 2 Avro Vulcan épuisés, qui avaient été réalisés par Diverse Images dans les premières années d'actvité, mon bonheur est complet....😇

Sauf que..., depuis cette acquisition, je sens un manque.... 

Je n'ai plus les recherches interminables sur internet pour trouver des modèles épuisés de Diverse Images.....

Je vais m'ennuyer....😄😄😄

As explained in the previous post, here is the second Avro Vulcan from Diverse Images obtained by a fluke at the beginning of the summer.

So, now, after having obtained these 2 sold out Avro Vulcan, which had been made by Diverse Images in the first years of activity, my happiness is complete.....😇

Except that ..., since this acquisition, I feel a lack ... 

I no longer have the endless internet searches for sold out Diverse Images models .....

I am going to get bored....😄😄😄

Moment de bonheur - Moment of happiness : 1/144 Avro Vulcan - by Diverse Images

Dans le précédent message (voir ici), je vous ai dit que l'achat du Hawker Hunter aux couleurs des Blue Diamonds avait été à l'origine d'un grand moment de bonheur.....

En effet, à l'occasion d'un échange de mails avec le vendeur, qui proposait plusieurs modèles de Diverse Images (aujourd'hui Staples & Vine) au 1/144, je lui ai dit que j'en avais déjà beaucoup sauf les Avro Vulcan que j'avais ratés lors de leur sortie, et jamais revus sur les différents sites de vente aux enchères. 

Et là, miracle, joie, bonheur et tout et tout....

Le vendeur en avait.... et il était prêt à les vendre.

Alors, j'ai pris conseil, j'ai réfléchi, intensément mais rapidement et.... j'en ai acheté DEUX......😇

Oui, je suis un peu dingue, mais comme dit le proverbe : quand on aime, on ne compte pas.....

Et voici donc, enfin, un des 3 Avro Vulcan fabriqués par Diverse Images (non, je n'en ai pas acheté 3...., 2 suffisaient largement....! 😂).

In the previous message (see here), I told you that the purchase of the Hawker Hunter in the colors of the Blue Diamonds had been at the origin of a great moment of happiness .....

Indeed, during an exchange of emails with the seller, who offered several Diverse Images models (now Staples & Vine) at 1/144, I told him that I already had a lot except the Avro Vulcan that I had missed when they were released, and never seen on the various auction sites.

And there, miracle, joy, happiness and all and all...

The seller had some .... and he was ready to sell them.

So, I took advice, I thought, intensely but quickly and .... I bought TWO ...... 😇

Yes, I'm a little crazy, but as the French saying goes : when you love you don’t count the cost .....

And here is, finally, one of the 3 Avro Vulcan manufactured by Diverse Images (no, I did not buy 3 ...., 2 were more than enough ....! 😂).

Oui, mais....

Oui mais, d'une part, il porte la décoration de la patrouille acrobatique des Blue Diamonds de la Royal Air Force.

Il est vraiment superbe (même si certains décalques sont un peu défraichies). 

Oui mais, d'autre part, il est à l'origine d'une ENORME surprise, un moment de bonheur, que je vous raconterai dans le prochain post....
