1/144 Amiot 351 - by Chaubet

Après avoir présenté le modèle de production Amiot 354 (voir ici), voici la première série de cet avion avec un empennage bi-dérive, toujours réalisé par M. Chaubet au 1/144, dont seulement 4 étaient opérationnels au début de la guerre.
Et pourtant, avec ses lignes, il était prometteur, mais comme beaucoup d'avions français de l'époque, il a souffert de la mauvaise qualité des moteurs, l'absence de fabrication à la chaine, etc...


After presenting the production model Amiot 354 (see here), this is the first series of this aircraft with a twin-fin tail, always made by Mr. Chaubet at 1/144, which only 4 were operational at the beginning of the war.
And yet, with its lines, it was promising, but like many French planes of the time, ir suffered from the poor quality of the engines, the lack of assembly-line production, etc...
