1/144 Boeing C-97 Stratofreighter - by Corgi

Retour aux classiques de Corgi avec ce Boeing C-97 Stratofreighter, basé sur le bombardier B-29 Superfortress, et qui a également donné lieu à l'avion civil Boeing 377 Stratocruiser.
Ces avions vont servir du Pont aérien de Berlin jusqu'à la guerre du Vietnam, dont un nombre important en tankers.

Il n'y a qu'un seul problème : les roues sont en caoutchouc et sont écrasées sous le poids du modèle qui est particulièrement lourd, tout en métal.
Il faut donc tourner les roues régulièrement lorsque le modèle est en présentation.


Back to the classics of Corgi with this Boeing C-97 Stratofreighter, based on the B-29 Superfortress bomber, which led to the civil aircraft Boeing 377 Stratocruiser.
These aircraft will be used from Berlin Airlift to the Vietnam War, including a significant number in tankers.

There is only one problem : the wheels are of rubber and are crushed under the weight of the model which is particularly heavy, all-metal.
We must therefore turn the wheels regularly when the model is in presentation.
