Mis en service à la fin de la seconde guerre mondiale, la carrière du Douglas A-26 Invader commencera vraiment avec les américains pendant la guerre de Corée puis du Vietnam, et avec les français pendant les guerres de décolonisation d'Indochine et Algérie
Sa nomenclature A-26 ( pour avion d'attaque) deviendra B-26 en 1948 après le retrait de l'autre B-26, le Martin Marauder.
Ici réalisé par M. Chaubet au 1/144, un B-26 aux couleurs du groupe de bombardement "Gascogne" pendant la guerre d'Indochine.

Commissioned at the end of the Second World War, the  Douglas A-26 Invader career really begin with the U.S. during the Korean and VietnamWars, and with the French during the decolonization wars of Indochina and Algeria.
Its nomenclature A-26 (for attack aircraft) become B-26 in 1948 after the withdrawal of the other B-26, the Martin Marauder.
Here made by Mr. Chaubet at 1/144, a B-26 in the colors of the "Gascogne" bomber group during the Indochina War.
