1/144 Avro Lancastrian - by Corgi

Après la guerre, et du fait des besoins en avions de transport, l'Avro Lancastrian, ici réalisé par Corgi, a été développé à partir du bombardier Lancaster, en supprimant toutes les tourelles et en créant un nouveau nez.
Cet avion ne pouvait transporter que peu de passagers mais avait une capacité de charges lourdes, vu son rôle antérieur de bombardier...
Une version de cet avion a été réalisée au profit de la Société Flight Refuelling Ltd, pour le transport d'essence pendant le blocus de Berlin.

After the war and due to the need for transport aircraft, the Avro Lancastrian, here made by Corgi, was developed from the Lancaster bomber by removing all turrets and building a new nose.
This aircraft could carry that few passengers but had a heavy cargo capacity, given his previous role bomber...
A version of this plane was made for the benefit of the Company Flight Refuelling Ltd, for the transport of petrol during the Berlin Airlift.
