VERSUS : SNCAC 701 Martinet & SNCAC 702 Martinet

Présenté dans le précédent post de la série "Animals" compte tenu de son surnom "Martinet", une petite comparaison entre les SNCAC (Société Nationale de Construction Aéronautique du Centre) NC 701 et NC 702 (voir les messages d'origine ici et là).

Développés tous deux à partir de l'avion allemand Siebel 204, les différences essentielles entre les NC 701 et 702 sont la modification de la cabine de pilotage et du nez plein pour le NC 702.


Presented in the previous post of "Animals" series given his nickname "Swift", a small comparison between the SNCAC (Société Nationale de Construction Aéronautique du Centre) NC 701 and NC 702 (see the original messages here and there).

Both developed from the German aircraft Siebel Si 204, the essential differences between NC 701 and 702 are changing the cockpit and nose full for the NC 702.

1/144 Opel Blitz Refueller

Et j'ai cherché, cherché, cherché…
J'ai cherché des photos d’un camion Opel Blitz en version ravitailleur sur une base aérienne allemande.
Et je n’ai trouvé que la première version de l’Opel Blitz, avec cabine en bois (?)

And I searched, searched and searched...
I searched photos of an Opel Blitz truck in tanker version on a German air base.
And I have only found the first version of the Opel Blitz, with wooden cabin (?)

Mais je n'ai rien trouvé pour le modèle de la deuxième version de l’Opel Blitz que j’ai au 1/144.

But I have found nothing for the model of the Opel Blitz second version I have at 1/144.

Mais en faisant mes recherches, j’ai eu la surprise de constater que les allemands utilisaient des moyens empiriques, notamment pour le ravitaillement des avions.
Comment ?
Tout simplement en mettant un certain nombre de bidons d’essence dans la benne d’un camion avec quelques tuyaux.
Pas besoin de camion citerne…

Et en plus, en utilisant un Opel Blitz de deuxième génération comme le kit produit par Arrowhead Miniatures.

Donc, voilà enfin le ravitailleur de la Luftwaffe qui manquait à ma collection.

But by doing my researches I was surprised to see that the Germans were using empirical means, in particular for refueling aircraft.
How ?
Simply by putting a number of drums of gasoline in the back of a truck with some pipes.
No need of  a tanker truck...
And in addition, using a second generation Opel Blitz like the kit produced by Arrowhead Miniatures.
So here is finally the Luftwaffe refueller that was missing in my collection.

Southern Expo 2016

Je suis vraiment sympa avec vous.
Oui, avec vous !!!!
J'ai traversé la moitié de Londres, en prenant, du fait des travaux, deux fois le métro, une fois un train, et encore une fois un métro, puis enfin un bus pour arriver dans un gymnase de Hornchurch (la grande banlieue, même la très grande banlieue) pour visiter l'exposition du Southern Expo.
Bon, heureusement qu'il y avait des choses sympathiques à voir, même s'il n'y en avait pas beaucoup au 1/144.

I crossed half of London by taking, because of works, twice the Tube, once a train and the Tube again, and finally a bus to get in a gymnasium of Hornchurch (outlying suburbs, even the vast suburb) to visit the Southern Expo exhibition.
Well, luckily there were nice things to see, even if there was not much to 1/144.
